The COMPASS Institute in partnership with CrichtonMullings and UNICEF conducted a “Deep Dive” budget analysis on three education programmes: 1) School Feeding; 2) Textbooks; and 3) Tertiary Education. This deep dive enabled to obtain information and quantitative and qualitative data on budget execution and results of those programs. It also formulated an action plan to improve the articulation between budget allocations, objectives, and result targets of those programmes. Finally, the mandate included a training component of 36 key sector staff on budget analysis techniques.
