Between July 25 and September 16 took place the Results-Based Budgeting (PbR) Training Programme – First Level, with the objective of supporting the implementation of the Results-Based Budget process in the Republic of Panama. This program conducted with the Office of the Budget (DIPRENA) included three modules: (i) Strategic Planning; (ii) Results based Budgeting; and (iii) Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) of Budget Execution. This training enabled the participants to acquire skills for the design and implementation of program budgets, articulating elements of planning, budget and M&E for clear linkages between program financial resources, objectives and result targets. The training, which included 40 hours per module, was delivered to about 60 participants in a mixed modality, integrating concepts and tools with international experiences and exercises applied to the Panamanian context.
