COMPASS Institute presented the results of the study entitled “Interactions Between Francophone Newcomers and Indigenous Communities in Saskatchewan” during the Associative and Institutional Forum organized in Saskatoon by the Francophone Immigration Network of Saskatchewan (RIF-SK).
Based on interviews and focus groups conducted in various communities across the province, the study identified opportunities and challenges related to strengthening relations between these two communities. The findings highlight the importance of creating spaces for dialogue, developing intercultural activities, and establishing ongoing mechanisms for collaboration in order to foster mutual understanding and social cohesion.
Through this research, COMPASS Institute continues its commitment to supporting organizations and institutions in the design of evidence-based strategies to strengthen inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and community development.
