The COMPASS Institute offers three types of training programs:
180-hour Advanced Certification in afield of Results-Based Management;
60-hour Diploma on a particular subfield;
Short Diploma of 3 to 30 hours on a particular theme.
ADVANCED CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS AND DIPLOMAS
OFFERED JOINTLY BY THE COMPASS INSTITUTE WITH SEVERAL INTERNATIONAL AND REGIONAL PARTNERS
The 180-hour Advanced Certification programs are divided into three 60-hour Diplomas. These 60-hour Diploma provide participants with the most up-to-date approaches and tools in the field, examples of good practices learned in the fifty countries where the COMPASS team has worked around the world, exercises and case studies applied to the sectors and regions of the participants. The participant who has obtained the Diplomas receives an Advanced Certification Diploma.
To successfully complete a 60-hour Diploma program, the participant must obtain an average passing grade of 60% in individual exercises, group work, the final test and an individual integration project. In this project, the participant must demonstrate his or her ability to analyze and synthesize by applying some of the skills acquired to a problem related to his or her work. The participant who has met his or her requirements receives a Diploma.
The COMPASS Institute may recognize the achievements of equivalent training as a contribution to a 60-hour Diploma if the participant meets the requirements of this Diploma in terms of final test and work on an integration project. A participant can take a 60-hour Diploma for one year and follow the other two in the following years to finally obtain the Advanced Certification Diploma.
The 60-hour Diplomas are typically conducted over a period of two (2) weeks by an on-site trainer and a remote trainer. They also include remote interventions by several recognized international and regional trainers and experts. In addition to the face-to-face modality, an online modality or a mixed modality (one online part and one face-to-face part) is also possible.
These programs are generally delivered in conjunction with international and regional partners depending on the region and theme.
All our Advanced Certifications or Diplomas can also be arranged upon request for a group of participants at the location and dates desired by a group of participants.

The COMPASS Institute also develops integrated institutional capacity building programs within the framework of global agreements with a government, a ministry or an institution with a view to a sustainable transfer of skills. These programs may involve the revision of existing training programs, the co-development of new training programs, the training of trainers, the improvement of the distance learning platform, the joint delivery of a massive training program for public sector employees, the preparation of joint publications, the establishment of a knowledge management system, etc. These programs are always designed following a participatory diagnostic process aimed at adapting existing training to the context and needs of the client.
